Then out of your way.
A small utility that takes interruptions seriously.
See your shortcuts respond
Separate feedback for copy, cut and paste, plus ordinary clipboard updates. When evidence is limited, the message reflects only what was observed.
Stay in your flow
Desktop feedback lets clicks pass through and leaves keyboard focus alone. The app lives in your menu bar or system tray.
Make it feel like yours
Classic and Garden skins, light and dark appearances, six position anchors, and adjustable motion and display duration.
Choose where it appears
Use it everywhere, exclude selected apps, or enable it only in selected apps. Pause when needed; system reduced-motion preferences are respected.
Your device. Your data.
Notice the action.
Leave the content alone.
Desktop feedback runs on your device. ClipDing cares about the operation, without reading what you copied.
- No reading or saving text, images, filenames or file lists
- Operation, format and app-scope metadata handled locally
- No desktop business network requests, ad SDKs or telemetry

Setup & permissionsA few things to know
Does it keep clipboard history?
No. ClipDing provides operation feedback. It does not save clipboard history or sync clipboard content.
Why does macOS need Input Monitoring?
To recognize fixed copy, cut and paste shortcuts. Authorization is requested only when you choose it. Clipboard-update feedback and demonstrations remain available without it.
Does “Paste detected” mean it worked?
No. It indicates an observed paste shortcut, not proof that the destination inserted content. Cut feedback likewise does not confirm deletion at the source.
What about context menus?
Copy or cut without an observed shortcut generally produces update feedback only. Context-menu paste is usually not observable. Remapping, secure input and protected windows can also limit recognition.
